When does my rent start and in what form should it be payable?

On your arrival date, please be prepared to pay 1 full month rent prior to receiving keys; your second month’s rent will be pro-rated. Payment should be in the form of personal check, money order, or certified check only, payable to Summer pointe Apartments. We do not accept cash or post-dated checks. Make sure you always indicate your apartment address on your payment to make sure it is credited to the correct account.

What are my lease options?

All leases must end in May, July or December. Any leases ending in May or December are available at the following lease premiums: 1 bed $30, 2 bed $45, 3 bed $60, 4 bed $100.

What utilities am I responsible prior to moving in?

We pay for water and trash. You are responsible for electricity except for Springfield and Cinnamon Creek Town Homes, which have gas heating. In these apartments only, heater runs on gas everything else is electric. You need to get these services transferred into your name and show us your account number for these services on the day you move in with us. If you do not show us OG&E and ONG (for Springfield and Cinnamon Creek Town Homes)account number then you cannot move in on the scheduled day.

Do I need to fill out Property Conditional Report?

When you sign your apartment contract with us you will be provided a property condition report. This is for your protection, and we highly recommend that you fill it out and return it to the leasing office within three business days. We refer to this sheet when you move out to make sure that you are not charged for any pre-existing conditions. If you do not return this report to us we will assume that the apartment was in perfect condition and any damages present at the time you move out will be considered your responsibility.
